Due to the current situation with coronavirus, the Edinburgh Book Fair 2020 has unfortunately been cancelled.

Statement from the fair managers, on behalf of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association & Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association:

After careful consideration, consultation with the leadership of the ABA & PBFA, and with much regret, we have to announce that next week's Edinburgh Book Fair will not go ahead as planned on 20th & 21st March. With the situation relating to coronavirus/Covid-19 changing day by day our responsibility is to ensure the health and safety of our exhibitors and all potential visitors.

We are deeply sorry to disappoint everyone who was looking forward to the fair, and we are exploring options that might allow us to reschedule for later in the year.

Scotland's largest and most prestigious antiquarian book fair, the Edinburgh Book Fair is a major event in the calendars of collectors, librarians, specialists, and bookdealers around the UK. This year over 45 booksellers from around the UK and further afield will be exhibiting.

It will take place in the Dunedin Suite and Canongate Suite at the Radisson Blu hotel on Edinburgh's Royal Mile.
